Release notes

A user-facing overview of new OnlineOffice features and improvements. We list only what is usable or clearly marked by its current status.

July 2026Latest

Pricing, no-card trial, and clearer plans

Pricing was cleaned up around the current offers: Free, Starter, Standard, and Founding Pro. A clear 30-day no-card Starter workflow trial was also added.

Plans

  • The plan comparison now shows only the currently available Free, Starter, Standard, and Founding Pro offers.
  • The older Accountant / Agency offer was removed from pricing so the page does not promise an outdated sales model.
  • Workflow cards now place plan information consistently below each card title.

Trial

  • The Starter workflow can be started as a 30-day trial without entering a card.
  • The trial is available once every 12 months and does not automatically start payment after it ends.
  • Pricing and terms explain that users should retain access to export their own created data after the trial where export is available.

Mobile workspace and invoice PDFs

A large part of July focused on practical mobile use and making invoices look professional even with longer business names and item text.

Mobile use

  • Filters and large action sets in the workspace are more compact on mobile and no longer take several screens before the content.
  • The invoice list uses mobile cards with visible primary actions instead of a narrow table trapped off screen.
  • Invoice file outputs are hidden behind a compact control on mobile so file buttons stay inside the card.

Invoice PDF

  • Long company names and longer invoice items wrap more naturally instead of pushing text into neighbouring columns.
  • For non-VAT payers, unnecessary zero-VAT summary lines are hidden.
  • The PDF preview in the workspace was adjusted to be more usable on narrow mobile screens.

Public pages, consent, and legal text

Public pages were aligned with the real product state, marketing consent, and the new trial journey.

Consent and ads

  • AdSense is prepared only on selected public pages and loads only after the user gives marketing consent.
  • Public ads.txt and site-verification metadata were added for Google AdSense review.
  • The cookie banner no longer covers critical buttons on sign-in pages.

Legal and accessibility

  • Terms of Use now explain the 30-day no-card trial, the once-per-12-month limit, and data export access after expiry.
  • The Accessibility Statement now covers pricing, trial, registration, sign-in, account deletion, and data export journeys.
  • Cookie and legal text more clearly separates required service functionality from optional measurement and marketing.

Accounting workflow for invoices, documents, and receipts

OnlineOffice moved from a standalone invoicing module toward practical evidence collection for business owners and accountants.

Invoices and eInvoice data

  • Issued invoices have PDF output, archive XML, and PEPPOL-ready UBL/eInvoice XML data.
  • Invoices support QR payment, attachments, audit trail, and a document ZIP package.
  • Excel import can prepare invoice drafts from a template for user review before issuing.
  • Invoices show company tax IDs, issuer contact details, and the contact person for the issued invoice.

Received documents and receipts

  • The workspace now has a separate received-documents area next to issued invoices.
  • Receipts can be added by upload, manual entry, or a short-lived scan link in the mobile browser.
  • A missing receipt or document can be marked so the accountant can see what still needs attention.
  • The monthly accountant package prepares a ZIP and CSV checklist of evidence.

Bank statements and matching

  • Bank statement import helps track payment status and connect movements to invoices or documents.
  • Users can confirm or adjust suggested matches before handing evidence to the accountant.
  • The dashboard shows annual P&L from invoices with an issuing-company filter.

Accountant collaboration and exports

Practical steps were added for preparing monthly evidence and handing it to an accountant without explaining everything by email.

Evidence handoff

  • An accountant or client can be saved as a contact for evidence handoff.
  • The package includes invoices, received documents, attachments, audit trail, and a checklist.
  • Manual exports are the preferred solution for Slovak accounting systems to avoid unnecessary direct-connector overhead.

Company data and address book

  • Company lookup works with Slovak company ID, tax ID, and name where supported by available Slovak sources.
  • Company forms were simplified so legal name and company name are not duplicated unnecessarily.
  • Issuing companies can have a default payment method and invoice contact details.

Security, billing, and production readiness

A large part of the work went into making the paid SaaS safer and operationally checkable, not just nicer on screen.

Accounts and login

  • Admin accounts can use MFA and recovery codes.
  • Google account linking checks the email address and shows a clear warning when it does not match.
  • Authentication health checks help detect login problems before users have to report them.

Operations

  • Production has health/readiness endpoints, Sentry release metadata, and uptime monitoring.
  • Uploads are validated and production is prepared for ClamAV malware scanning.
  • Backups have offsite checks and a restore drill was completed into a temporary database and temporary directory.

Payments

  • Stripe checkout, customer portal, and webhook handling are ready for paid plans.
  • Pricing now shows more clearly what is included in Starter, Standard, Founding Pro, and planned add-ons.

Public tools and user experience

Public PDF and document tools remain an important entry point into the product, so several everyday workflow improvements were added.

PDF and documents

  • Remove PDF pages is closer to the split/reorder workflow: users see document pages and the order of the final PDF.
  • Signing and account signature management were simplified, including upload and removal.
  • Public pages, FAQ, demo, and pricing were updated to show current functionality without internal notes.

Mobile use

  • Mobile navigation now makes language switching and primary actions easier to reach.
  • Device-aware signing and scanning use direct actions on mobile and QR handoff from desktop.
